Shija e Veriut (Taste of the North) is a registered promotional brand for products from the northern Albanian municipalities of Vau Dejës, Pukë, and Fushë Arrëz. Inspired by best-practice experiences of territorial promotion from the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy, it aims at promoting the agri-food and touristic offers of this region and fostering partnerships between farmers, producers, restaurant owners, associations, as well as other stakeholders.

Shija e Veriut promotes traditional products from the three northern Albanian municipalities of Fushë Arrëz, Pukë, and Vau Dejës.
In this region rocky peaks, forests, meadows, lakes, and rivers surround towns and villages scattered between the lowlands of Vau Dejës and the shores of the Fierza and Komani lakes at the northern end of Fushë Arrëz.
